Skin Safety

Usually I like to write about style and what's hot to wear, but not today. I have noticed that the time for protecting our skin and preparing for the summer sun is near. I recently discussed with a friend the benefits of sunscreen to all ethnic groups and races. Some people feel that if their skin is dark then they do not need sun protection. That is far from the truth! Although people of darker skins tones may not need as much sunblock, the purpose for all of us wearing sun block is not to just prevent sunburn, but to prevent skin cancer. One small spot of skin cancer on your body can turn into a huge ordeal. I'm not suggesting that you slather on mounds of sun block, but I am suggesting that you take precaution. I challenge each and every female that is reading this, to protect their skin and preserve it's youthful look. You don't want to look like worn out leather when you are in your 50's and 60's. Try Oil Of Olay's complete line which comes with SPF 15 in it. It is inexpensive and light weight. There are other skin care lines that have similar products. Try them and find the one that is best for you. Think before you go to the beach and remember to put on your sunscreen. Check out the pictures below of lovely women who protect their skin and keep their youthful looks.

P.S....don't forget to drink plenty of water!!!!!
